Easy to assembly. INstalled over a 4x4 post in half an hour. Very elegant looking and much nicer than what we had before (standard 4 x 4 wood post). Would recommend. Just wish it supported a heavier mail box like some of the heavy duty cast aluminum ones.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
